We were married at Monteverde , and it was extremely difficult. They fought us on everything. They included a # of extra charges that were never specified in the contract or verbally disclosed. At our tasting, they only served us wines that when chosen, they would only provide for an additional fee because they were “premium” wines.Food service was very delayed during the reception, and they tried to charge us for their delay as well.

Wouldn't recommend anyone to have a wedding here! The Director there was absolutely awful and seemed to be bothered by everyone! She shouldn't be working there or anywhere else for that matter. She was not accommodating at all & every conversation with her about arrangements, she changed them and obviously wouldn't remember the previous conversation. No one should have to go through this especially for their wedding!!!

Although a bit overpriced and out of the way, this charming inn serves classic fare that is beautifully prepared. they do beautiful parties as well.
